Symptoms you should never ignore. Most of these signs can have non-cancer causes — but getting checked early is always the right choice.
Having these symptoms does not mean you have cancer. Many can be caused by other conditions. However, if any symptom persists for more than 2–3 weeks, please consult a doctor. Don't ignore it — don't panic. Just get checked.
Losing more than 5 kg without trying can be an early cancer sign.
A cough lasting 3+ weeks, especially with blood or hoarseness.
Blood in stool, urine, sputum, or unusual vaginal bleeding.
A new lump in neck, armpit, groin, or breast — especially painless.
Persistent diarrhea, constipation, or feeling bowel doesn't empty.
Any sore in mouth, skin, or genitals not healing within 3 weeks.
Extreme tiredness that doesn't go away with rest.
Mole changes in size, shape, color. Use the ABCDE rule.
Persistent trouble swallowing or food getting stuck.
Unexplained recurring fever, especially with night sweats.
